The Start

C.E. began racing in 1997. As a result of his success in local go-kart races, the decision was made in 2000 to compete in the Virginia Dirt Karting Association (V.D.K.A.). C.E. would continue racing in the V.D.K.A. and WKA until 2003, adding numerous wins and championships to his resume.

2003 would also be the first year that C.E. would drive a Legends Car. In his first year in the series, C.E. won five out of twelve Legends Car races that he competed in, an outstanding achievement for a fifteen year-old.

2004 would prove to be even more successful as C.E. amassed twenty wins in Legends and late model stock cars, which also included a trip to Las Vegas for the Nationals. C.E. qualified on the pole and was leading the race until mechanical failure struck.

2005 showed the Legend racing world that C.E. Falk was the man to beat, completing the year with 12 wins at 5 different tracks, 31 top 5s, and 33 top 10s out of 36 races. He qualified an impressive 3rd out of 56 cars at the Legends Asphalt Nationals in his first year in the Pro division. That stellar qualifying effort came with a runner up finish in the A-main.

2006 was a growing year. C.E. signed on to race the ultra competitive Hooters Pro Cup series. Although coming away after 6 races with the Miller Lite Rookie of the Race award for Montgomery Alabama and an impressive run at both South Georgia and Concord North Carolina, C.E. did not feel comfortable with the equipment he was given and left the team. “I felt like I just could not win with the equipment that was given to me. I want to come to the racetrack to win and not run second.” So C.E. rejoined his family and they put together a Late Model Stock Car (borrowed from his brother Wesley) and ran in the top 10 at the three biggest races of the year, South Boston Speedway, Myrtle Beach Speedway, and Southern National Raceway Park.

2007 proved to be a memorable year. C.E. was racing with his family again and working with his younger brother Wesley who was racing the division right under C.E. He teamed up with local legend Phil Warren and the pair proved to a force to be reckoned with. C.E ran the entire schedule at South Boston Speedway picking up one win, 10 top 5s, 15 top 10s and 3 poles. He ended up 4th in points and was recognized as the most improved driver in the Late Model Stock Division. He also qualified 6th out of 111 cars that tried to qualify for the Bailey’s 300 at Martinsville speedway. C.E. was in contention and running third until wrecked by the 2nd place driver. That did not stop him though from qualifying on the pole for the South Boston 300 out of 60 cars and lead 87 laps for a disappointing but respectable 2nd place finish.

2008 has C.E. running at South Boston Speedway, Southern National Raceway Park in Kenly, NC, and the legendary Langley Speedway in Hampton, Va. He is eyeing not only the Virginia State title but the National Championship as well. With one year to gel with his new team, C.E. and Falk Motorsports are ready to accomplish this goal.
